It's been an exciting spring here at The Gettig Ranch! I've had quite a bit of work coming in through Voices.com as well as repeat business from happy clients. Recently booked projects include three different e-learning modules, a regional TV spot, and narrating a promo video. Waiting in the wings are an audio book and more e-learning modules.

One recent booking was especially exciting as it was for The Voice Factory in Canada. You can find them at http://voicefactory.ca. They are great people and I am humbled to have had the opportunity to work on one of their projects.

I am convinced that the "work" of voiceover is auditioning because I get to do a lot of that. I think it's great! It gives me to opportunity to always be well rehearsed with a wide array of copy. When my voice tickles the ears of a talent seeker, we have a match and a booking!

In studio news, I have cherished my RE20 microphone for years. The addition of the new dbx microphone preamp was more of an improvement than I thought it would be. Short story: it brings the volume to where it should be, helps with the ssss's, and makes a clean mic sound even better. :)

Speaking of microphones, I have my eye on a couple of new ones for very specific purposes. More about them as they arrive in the studio!
